Matt DesLauriers 

Matt DesLauriers, a London-based Canadian-born artist, harnesses the power of code to create mesmerizing generative artworks deeply influenced by modern art. His innovative approach to art has led to fruitful collaborations with various artists, resulting in captivating interactive installations showcased at esteemed venues like the Louvre Museum in Paris and the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto.

One of his notable projects, “Lumos,” was a part of the Winter Light Exhibit at Ontario Place. This stunning light sculpture reacts to human warmth, transforming from cool blue tones to warmer hues of red, orange, and yellow when detecting body heat. DesLauriers’ art thrives on its ability to produce multiple prints, each generating unique combinations, making every piece an individual expression of his creative vision.

An active member of the open-source community, Matt DesLauriers generously shares his expertise through engaging talks, classes, and workshops on creative coding.
